Play 2 Learn Review and Giveaway

Play 2 Learn - What Sound? by Speech2Teach, is an app specifically developed to fine tune your child's all important Auditory Processing skills.
Auditory Processing problems are common with special needs children and Play 2 Learn is a simple yet effective way to work on this problem at home while your child is having fun.

With an extremely simple yet engaging user interface Play 2 Learn was easy enough for my four year old to access and start using immediately without any prompting.
Upon opening the app you are presented with a selection of nine picture cards
Touch the highlighted PLAY icon and an audio recording of a sound is played. Your child then needs to match the sound with the relevant card. If the selected card is correct the card is enlarged and highlighted and a celebratory tune is played. If incorrect the card is not enlarged and a muted tone is heard. Your child can then try again.
Once all cards have been successfully matched to their sounds you have the option to continue automatically or you can shuffle all the cards in the app to have a new selection appear. You can also shuffle the deck you are using to change their position on the screen.

All the cards and sounds are of everyday, easily recognisable objects, animals or actions.
Some of the cards may have similar sounds making the user listen carefully to discriminate.
This app is designed for use on an iPhone or iTouch but you lose none of the graphics quality when using it in 2x mode on an iPad.

At just 99c this app is great value and deals with an often forgotten skill. Speech2Teach have very kindly given us two codes for Play 2 Learn - What Sound?
