Each level goes for 60 sec which counts down requiring a minimum of blobs of colour tapped. The last 10 of those is a verbal countdown from 10-1, which is a great counting reinforcement.
Each level adds some different colours and requires you to match more colours in 60sec.
And so the game levels goes up until you don't meet the required number of blobs. There is encouragement while playing the game too.
The background changes with each level as does the music is quite catchy.
I quite enjoyed playing this game. I used both hands, but it was equally as fun for my child using one finger.
Colour/Color Mayhem is the same app except different spellings of the word, depending on which part of the world you come from.
Options: Helper (for advice), Sound Effects, Music & Allow connection to the internet. All can be on or off
Help: shows the different parts of the screen and what they do
High Scores/Your Stats is a feature I quite like as you can check on your child's progress
