We have created this app to make this learning process easier and fun! What the app contains
- Word Making
Each user is expected to spell the word at the top of the page by popping the appropriate bubbles in the correct order. After the first step has been successfully completed, they are presented with a picture of the same object and expected to spell the word again by popping the correct bubbles. Six levels are present in this mode. The corresponding content at each level varies from three to six letter words and an exam level.
- Image Matching
The user is presented with a word and ten pictures. Then they are expected find the picture that matches the word. The expectation is for the user to match as many words with the appropriate picture as possible in one minute.
- Memory
Users are presented with five pictures and are expected to memorize them. Once the pictures disappear, they are asked to identify three of the five images they were presented with.
- Gallery
Users are presented with all 26 letters of the alphabet on flashcards that show the letter and a picture that starts with that phoneme. As the flashcard is presented, there is narration that says the letter name and what the picture is.

- In the “Word Making” mode, the user can progress from three to six letter words.
- Great directions are available.

- An option to enter my own words into the “Word Making” mode.
- Eliminate the cartoon style pictures and move to images of real items.
- Improve the quality of the synthetic voice. The app is fun and lively while the voice is monotone and boring.

This would be a great app for students with special needs. The app contains bright cheerful colours and fun lively music. There is just the right amount of variety in the reinforcement for correct responses to keep the user motivated. It could be used to work on basic vocabulary skills, spelling, and memory skills.
